Install: New Users

Note: The Transaction Tool Desktop application is currently supported on macOS only. All release artifacts are available here.

Step-by-Step Installation Guide

Download the Installer

• Visit the GitHub Releases page.

• Download the latest .pkg file for the Hedera Transaction Tool.

Locate the Downloaded File

• Find the .pkg file in your Downloads folder or wherever you saved it.

Launch the Installer

Double-click the .pkg file to open the installation wizard.

1. Follow the Installation Prompts:

   • Select Continue when prompted.

   • Select Continue again to proceed.

   • Select Install to begin the installation.

   
2. Authenticate

   • When prompted, enter your Mac device password and Select Install Software.

3. Grant Permissions

   • A system prompt may appear:

     • Select OK when asked if “Installer would like to access files in your folder.”

4. Complete Installation

   • Once installation is complete, Select Close to exit the wizard.

Once the application has been installed, proceed to Account Setup.
