# Install: New Users

**Note:** The Transaction Tool Desktop application is currently supported on **macOS only**. All release artifacts are available [here](https://github.com/hashgraph/hedera-transaction-tool/releases).

## Step-by-Step Installation Guide

### **Download the Installer**

* Visit the [GitHub Releases page](https://github.com/hashgraph/hedera-transaction-tool/releases).
* Download the latest `.pkg` file for the **Hedera Transaction Tool**.

### **Locate the Downloaded File**

* Find the `.pkg` file in your **Downloads** folder or wherever you saved it.

### **Launch the Installer**

Double-click the `.pkg` file to open the installation wizard.

1. Follow the Installation Prompts:

   * Select **Continue** when prompted.
   * Select **Continue** again to proceed.
   * Select **Install** to begin the installation.

2. Authenticate
   * When prompted, enter your **Mac device password** and Select Install Software.
3. Grant Permissions
   * A system prompt may appear:
     * Select **OK** when asked if “***Installer would like to access files in your folder.***”
4. Complete Installation

   * Once installation is complete, Select **Close** to exit the wizard.
